Hopscotch is officially over team. We did it. We lived. We’re tired. We need pizza. We also need salad. And a workout. Lots of sleep. Hydration. It’s a whole thing. If you need me I’ll be reading in bed all day.
We kicked off Day 3 with the VIP brunch at 10th and Terrace, the rooftop at the Residence Inn downtown. I really liked having a brunch option as part of the VIP ticket and they had lots of food. Drinks were flowing. That said, it was super crowded, seating was limited, and the outdoor seating was SO hot. Still, a fun event.
I headed home for a bit post brunch to rest up for the last night. Went back out around 4 to catch Kooley High’s set at City Plaza.
We wandered around after that and checked out some of the markets happening in City Plaza and at Isaac Hunter’s. We grabbed a quick bite and headed over to Red Hat for a killer main stage lineup. We hung around for Chk Chk Chk, Phantogram + CHVRCHES. They were all excellent and just so fun.
After the main stage was over, we got some food and called it a night! We were SO tired and really bopped our faces off at the main stage.
This was DEFINITELY another successful year and at the end of the day I definitely think VIP was worth it.
Already counting down until next year, but I definitely need some R&R.
